Its not quite saturated yet. 71million equates to less than 60% of the
population. Finland, Norway , Sweden,
Switzerland have 80%+  now. The keitai market needs to focus on the niches
it hasn't fully penetrated by
implementing more prepay, focusing on the guys in the Silver-Seats amongst
others.

As far as the downturn, Japan will look at outsourcing their whole
production base to China (which they are
doing now) to produce cheaper handsets that have a faster turnaround
(lifecycle) which will keep all in business.

Hi keitai-l,

in the last 3 weeks I saw 6 Keitai shops closing in my
nearest neighborhood (3 in Shimokitazawa, 3 in Shibuya).

Whats this? The bad economy? Saturation (71million Keitai
users are enough maybe) reached?
