info for those analysing
3G at the moment :-
Myvoice.com ran a survey on what the Japanese consumer wants out of 3G back
in October :
Basic summary states that most likely 3G user is male and under 20 (by
demand not by finances).
Furthermore, lbs based information services (ie Town Walker types) are more
popular than TV video.
Interestingly, only 5% of those surveyed knew about 3G well, and 17% didn't
know about it at all.
DoCoMo topped the charts as to most likely to be used 3G service, whilst AU
came it at 8%!
