TI supports multiple KVM vendors. The decision on which KVM to use resides
with the handset maker or carrier.

Here is a list of those that have publicly announced support for TI's OMAP
architecture.

Aplix Corp., esmertec Inc., Insignia Solutions, Kada Systems and Tao Group.

More information can be found at

http://www.ti.com Perform a search using key word OMAP

I can't seem to find that info either; however, a decent guess would be
that most products use a software kvm so it can be updated and extended
easily. The only reason I can think of for not using a soft kvm would
be to allow a carrier to maintain a closed system (bad idea). Does
anyone have an example of a modern device with a common vm embedded?
