Yes this is true. In good keeping with the old maxim, never work with
animals or
children one should know that primary research with kids will be difficult.
Some
companies such as BOLT (www.bolt.com) offer interesting avenues to canvass
opinion
from the "youth" via product led promotions although long term data validity
needs
to be analysed thoroughly.

On the bullying issue - this is true too. It is a clear indictment that the
mobile phone has
been fully adopted within the youth culture as it is being used to extend
the existing
patterns of behaviour displayed by this demographic. Technology is never
good nor bad,
it just enables us to do things better - whether it means looking up a girls
skirt or
bullying kids better - that's just the unfortunate exaggeration of human
being behaviour.
