Either the A5303 hitachi, or A5302 Casio. The Hitachi being clearly the
fastest.
One key parameter that we found is the speed of http requests, if you make
an "online app" that is, and the ability to thread them.

No, for example the A5301Thoshiba is clearly slower than the 2 I mentionned.

Clearly. Try the A3011 or the A3015, both SANYO, and you will see the
difference. Also those two phones can not thread the network requests: it
actually freezes the rest of the appli.

I'm not sure about that one. If you mean final approval for official
content, then there is a final check before launch made by Kyocera. But
developing, putting it on a phone either through a wap site or serial cable
is completely open to any one (free sdk and japanese doc on the ezweb site).
