Well, the 19,000 yen price in Kyushu and the 29,000 yen
price in Fukushima were both for starting totally new
contracts.
You could almost fly to Beppu to buy the phone there and
pay the same amount as you would if you just bought
the phone up here in Fukushima. :)
I think phones are most expensive in East Japan because
NTT East has to pay more money to SMAP for starring
in those commercials a while back.
