I'm suspecting that the Nokia thing also has a lot to do with "what
people are used to." When I switched handsets from Panasonic to Fujitsu,
it took me a while to get used to the UI features that were in fact
better--I hated some of them at first.

Thus, you probably also need an edge on features in order to get people
converting from Nokia to your handset. Unfortunately, the Japanese
makers are losing that edge, as was pointed out earlier in this thread.
