I talk about 2 hrs/month over my mobile but friends in the US talk
6 hours or more ... why chat with fingers when you have lips?
Filipinos built mobile networks only for short messages ... and we
designed 3G to enable video calls because voice is too expensive.
handsets have become pouches/wallets. if people buy keitais for
better cameras or whatever instead of the network services, carriers
will really have difficult times ... lucky we don't have MNP yet.
