A late reminder for those of you who haven't already heard about
tonight's ICA meeting. Official sign-up deadline has officially passed
but as it is a buffet style meal this month it is okay to just turn up
even if you haven't pre-registered (this month only):

Thurs. Apr. 15 at FCCJ: Joint Mobile Intelligence Round Table The
Mobile Intelligence Tour and the International Computer Association
will host a major joint networking and business development
round-table event on Japan's wireless Internet: "Japanese Mobiles
Rock" will bring together top mobile industry executives, developers,
strategists, planners, and academics from Europe, Australia, and Japan
-- and will be this season's best source of mobile business knowledge
available anywhere.

2004 is shaping up to become Japan's mobile breakout year. Terminal
makers such as Panasonic and NEC are selling 3G handsets in the US and
Europe, and Japanese developers are expanding partnerships in London,
Paris, and San Francisco. In the US, 3G, portable DSL, and super-cool
technologies are helping create new revenue based on e-wallets,
CD-quality mobile music, and global roaming.
