Vodafone Italy has launched a new offer for their 3G Umts PC-Card.

With 30 euros a month you get a flat rate that includes 50 mb of data a day
at 384 kbs.

This is about 40% less than what you pay with an ADSL connection, if you
count the fixed line contract that you have to pay anyway to Telecom
Italia, and the Adsl flat contract.

Adsl has no traffic limits but 50 mb a day is quiet good for personal use
if you think that you have no wires.

While Wi-Fi is still not an option, 3G is the first service giving you the
opportunity of cutting the cord.
