(keitai-l) European Z1010 UMTS phone in japan?

Has any of you tried or can any of you predict what happens when you try to
use a Sony Ericsson Z1010 UMTS phone with european uSIM (like from dutch
KPN) on the japanese NTT-Docomo or J-Phone network?

Will it be totally useless, a little useless, somewhat usefull or completely
usable?
