(keitai-l) SMS Spam in China

Well, it looks like SMS spam in China is a worse problem than keitai
spam here, and it includes the usual phishing scams:

I wonder, do they send this stuff from a phone, or do they have a
connection into the SMS system? Either way, you'd think it would not be
hard to track down the sender of a particular SMS, or the owner of a
particular telephone number.
