http://www.nowsms.com/ (commercial) will do something similar. Has a lively
forum on all things SMS.
Worth nothing that the throughput (in terms of number of messages) you will
get though a phone will be pretty poor. Also, I assume that if you put any
decent volume though the phone it'll get picked up by the operator.
