You are of course allowed to quote people off this list (and it has been done
quite often already), if -- and that`s the golden key -- you ask for permission
to quote that person and especially what content you are going to quote from him
or her. That policy is not limited to using postings from mailing lists, but is
a basic rule of good journalism.
