Hi all,

I've been mulling over the use of vibration on mobile phones, and would like
your thoughts.

Like most people, I think other peoples ringing phones are an unwanted
intrusion. For some reason it becomes more annoying when everyone seems to
have the same ring tone. This was highlighted to me on a recent trip to
Europe - are Europeans less likely to customize ring tones? Hmm.

So, out of respect for people around me I switch the phone to vibrate mode.
Perhaps I'm overly desensitized, but I have trouble recognizing when my
phone is vibrating - even on the strongest setting of my NM502i, even when
it is dancing around on the table in front of me.

What I'd like to know is:
1. If you use or have used vibration what you think of it?
2. If you stopped using vibration for some reason, why did you stop?
3. Recommendations for a mobile phone with superior vibration feedback
4. Has anyone come across any innovative applications of vibration or other
tactile feedback?

Thanks,

Jan
