hi jay,

as I have written about in
http://www.mobiliser.org/article?id=48, the best LBS
is from Navitime on KDDI's eznavigation. I just
received email from their CEO today: the premium
version of Navitime, which is embedded on the Panasonic
device, now has over 45.000 users paying
200 Yen/month. Interesting about Navitime is BREW
optimisation and hybrid wireless assisted positioning,
gpsOne from Qualcomm, which delivers very accurate
results outside and inside.

hope this helps, best, jan.
