I don't know. you do what you are good at. DoCoMo could buy control
of foreign operators and make their data services successful using
WAP, or we just say the best available technology on the market based
on open standards, if DoCoMo is confident its business know-how and
marketing and organizing talent can make the same wonder abroad.
but then they will have the problem of roaming and interworking, and
everyone will see how odd their domestic i-mode technologies are.
in fact the FOMA data services are such a mess that I think it will
be difficult for DoCoMo to get rid of the old things and move on.
fairly speaking, anyone who pioneers an unknown world will have
similar problems. so you better be the second than the first,
better be Yahoo! than Netscape,
better be Vodafone Live! than i-mode ...
but you cannot join Vodafone Live! without joining Vodafone?
