I didn't think your post insinuated Japan was inferior. I
appologize if I sounded too defensive.
Also, I didn't state that m3g will fail. Probably not. HI
Corp, for example, who control the Japanese market, also
have an m3g engine ready to go.
I just felt I needed to point out that m3g is not
technologically more advanced than what we have here, and
it wont cause the west to "shoot ahead" from now on in any
shape or form. In fact the opposite is true; standard
APIs, while a good thing most of the time, always take
longer to update, often falling behind. ie:
Direct3D vs OpenGL
DoJa vs midp
